Novovartalon is a combination of Glucosamine and Meloxicam.

Glucosamine is a cellulose-like combination product containing naturally occurring "building blocks" used by the body to make cartilage. It is thought to work by stimulating the production of cartilage, which leads to joint repair. It also protects cartilage and stops it from breaking down.

Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body.

Meloxicam is used to treat pain or inflammation caused by osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis in adults and children who are at least 2 years old.
